Founded in 1994 by Dr. Apostolos Kantzas in Calgary, PERM Inc. began as a Special Core Analysis and R&D laboratory for the oil and gas industry. Originally located on the University of Calgary campus, the company expanded to an off-campus facility in 2012 and specializes in advanced services such as full-diameter corefloods under high pressure and temperature, complex relative permeability measurements with integrated scanning, and tomographic imaging.
